過去世のお話 — 妖精編 — 空想の世界に住むポピーちゃんの場合 〜 Once a Fairy – Poppy’s story

Poppy, a little girl, is always daydreaming at school.
She lives in candy floss dreams.

She is a proud resident of a Fairyland which is, you know, like Moomin Valley.
She is not at all keeping up with real world speed, or rather, not willing to.
She only looks at things catches her attention. She never cares what is going on around her.

Self-centred? You might say.
She is not interested in ‘real’ world. Study?
Forget about it.

She has so many things she can ‘pass’ because she doesn’t know what they are for! People rather think that she is not capable.
Well I guess the ‘real’ world is a hard place for her to live, because it is a society that expects you “one for all, all for one” mind.
But, will she be alright like this? Are her parents’ minds all calm and peaceful?
I wonder that in our society how many of similar natured people are out of touch with reality? Often they are not in any occupations.

Known conditions such as Depression, Schizophrenia, Development Disability (DD), ADHD share similar symptoms such as lack of attention (concentration), hyperactivity and Impulsivity.
People with similar past lives appear to carry one or more symptoms of these.

They often lack social skills because they still live their fairy ways & days and don’t adopt human ways.

That’s why they care only what they want and refuse to do what they are asked to do.

If they arefortunate enough to be free from financial worries, perhaps being “detached”from the society could be an option.

Is this the way they are supposed to be, destiny or karma? What will happen to them once their parents/guardians who have cocooned them to protect from harsh reality are gone?
People with similar past lives are often highly sensitive (HSP) with a glass heart, and have difficulties to control their mind. This sure makes them struggle to fit in normal society we belong.
Being highly sensitive is not at all a negative call, but if you cannot tame your emotions then you are in trouble.

Poppy, currently second year in a primary school, is already straying off.
Kanji learning is particularly a struggle as she is Dyslexic and cannot distinguish characters like others (and there are so many!). Maths is an ok side as long as she can keep her concentration.

On the other hand, she shows amazing determination on things she has her mind set, like a horse after a carrot. She is very clear and honest to her desires.

There is also concern with her eye sight. Sometimes she doesn’t comprehend what she sees.
It might be a type of dyslexia.
I am not completely stranger to her symptom. I also have issues associates with eye sight. Plainly, I cannot handle reading a large quantity such as a whole newspaper. Reading for hours or play computer games are impossible.

My sight is 1.5 yet I struggle to follow objects with eyes, cannot keep up and sometimes my sight turns blur. So, frankly, I cannot read. You may find it rather odd that I write for living despite my literacy disability.

I’ve learnt to use my strength to cover weakness.
Furthermore, Dyslexia is heredity and my son was also dyslexic.
He was using one eye to capture sights while the other eye was completely dormant.

Our brain receives images
sent from both sights as signals and compose full picture to determine what you are seeing. But my son had trouble capturing pictures simultaneously with both eyes. In short, he was seeing but wasn’t fully comprehending.
He as overcome the symptom with training and excelled in his study consequently, achieving a huge leap in his test scores (claimed +15 on
hensachi). Now he is an University student studying Engineering.
We know some highly successful figures such as Tom Cruise, Steve Jobs and Steven Spielberg are all dyslexic.
I believe this is crucial for people like them to realize their strengths and expertise in them.
As I mentioned, they often have sharp artistic senses and it would be ideal if they could choose to expertise in whet they are best at.

Poppy is into dance, musical and stage play.

Up on the stage, She can be anybody and do anything. She can play with other fairies and live each day in Spring time, just like in her own
Fairyland. She would be happiest if she could expertise it as her future occupation and take audiences into her Fairyland too.
Of course we know the path is narrow and hard, unlike dreams that stage can show.
Only a few can blossom in the Spring time after a long and harsh winter.

Nevertheless future is not decided – you are the one to determine what your future holds.
May your dream lead you to a beautiful future.
